For the ‘Ride-On’ Art exhibit, I was handed a red skateboard, just like all the artists.
Instead of painting on it like most,
I made a functioning 35mm Pinhole camera with just this board and skateboard hardware.
Then shot a photo series with it while skating from my house to burnside skatepark.
*The skate nut had a magnet back which attached to the metal bearing allowing it to be removed/replaced, effectively functioning as the shutter.
Photos are simply a mathmatical equation of light + perspective.
